What does it cost to participate in the camp?
The participant-fee varies from the different camps. More information regarding the participant-fee will be given in the application process.

Does Song:Expo cover travel and stay?
No, you have to make sure you have a place to stay and a way to get here. There is lunch and dinner included in the participant-fee.

Trondheim, Norway.

What are the different camps?
Song:Expo is split into three different camps.
Regional camp: for songwriters located in Trøndelag or Møre og Romsdal
National camp: for Norwegian songwriters.
International: for songwriters from all over the world.

How does Song:Expo camp operate?
After you have applied to attend, if your application is approved, you will get information about the camp via email. During the camp you will be split into teams in each studio. You will be presented leads from different labels, which you can choose to follow - or you can write on your own. Usually you have 24h to write/produce one song. In the end, you hand in the files and deliver a splitsheet, equally split between the participants who contributed to the song. We do not own the songs that are written at the camp, but we help distribute the songs to different labels to increase your chance of a cut.
